Bikram is a Ph.D. student in Architectural Engineering (Structures) at the Charles W. Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL), supervised by Dr. Roohi. He started his studies at UNL in Fall 2024. He earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and master’s degree in Earthquake Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Before joining the SiRIUS lab, he had been working as a senior lecturer at Tribhuvan University for more than six years. He was also part of a group that contributed to the implementation of multistory building standards for the Nepal National Building Code (NBC) 105:2020 in Nepal. He has published thirteen research papers in national and international journals. His research interest encompasses community resilience against natural hazards, particularly earthquake hazards, structural health monitoring, and machine learning approaches in structural engineering, structural simulation, and modeling.
