Aleem is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering (Structures) under the supervision of Dr. Roohi. He is also a Teaching Assistant for the Engineering Mechanics: Statics class instructed by Dr. Roohi, where he leads recitation classes. His research focuses on infrastructure health monitoring and resilience. Prior to joining UNL, Aleem worked as a Structural Engineer/Design Coordinator in a construction firm in Qatar.

- Accepted to the 2024 NHERI Computational Academy with $1,500 NSF travel support. He will participate in Project 3 on ‘Equitable Emergency Response and Recovery during Flooding’ at UT Austin.
