Dr. Roohi had the honor of presenting an invited seminar titled "Scaling Infrastructure Resilience Measurement" at the 2023-2024 Seminar Series hosted by Rice University's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. This opportunity, facilitated by the kind invitation of Prof. Kalil Erazo and Prof. James Doss-Gollin, allowed Dr. Roohi to share insights and engage in valuable discussions with esteemed colleagues and bright minds at the university.
During the visit, Dr. Roohi met with renowned faculty members such as Prof. Jamie Padgett (Department Chair), Prof. Leonardo Dueñas-Osorio, and Prof. Satish Nagarajaiah, along with dedicated students and postdocs. These interactions provided a deeper understanding of the impactful research and emerging trends at Rice University.
